The Circle of Care is an AQL counsellor, doctor, local Aboriginal Health Worker and TIS worker working together as a team to empower mob to live a full, healthy, and strong life.
As a TIS worker or Aboriginal Health Worker, it’s vital to know how to yarn with mob about quitting the smokes in a non-judgemental and supportive way. The brief advice model ‘Ask, Advise, Help’ (AAH) (also known as Very brief advice) helps you do just that.
A referral to AQL increases the likelihood your client will make a quit attempt! Fill out the online referral form, or download a form to fax.
Find resources to give to community to inform them about Aboriginal Quitline and the benefits of quitting.
